Job Description

• We are seeking a motivated and organized Logistics Officer to join our team and contribute to the efficient management of our delivery services.


• In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the logistical aspects of our delivery operations. Experience in the field is optional, as the selected candidate will receive on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the entire delivery process, from order processing to final delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.


• Collaborate with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to optimize delivery routes and schedules, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.


• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries using our logistics management system.


• Address any delivery issues, such as delays or discrepancies, promptly and effectively, implementing corrective measures as needed.


• Support in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to enhance overall delivery operations.


• Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status, address concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.


• Assist in the recruitment, training, and management of delivery personnel, ensuring they adhere to company policies and safety standards.


• Analyze delivery performance metrics and generate reports for management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Requirements

• A Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus, but not required.


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.


• Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.


• A proactive mindset with problem-solving skills to address challenges in real-time.
