Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head, Planning & Procurement the incumbent will be involved in overseeing strategic sourcing and procurement of engineering items, consumables, equipment, and services.  


• The role involves adhering to procurement policies, ensuring timely purchases, verifying specification compliance, conducting market research, managing purchase orders, coordinating projects, developing vendor relationships, evaluating performance, and fostering quality improvements. 


• Key competencies required include procurement knowledge, effective communication, negotiation prowess, attention to detail, efficiency and innovation orientation, stakeholder relationship management, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving.


• The position combines technical expertise, project management, communication, and relationship skills to achieve efficient procurement processes and contribute to the organization's success. 

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess at least an HND in Engineering or related discipline with at least 3(three) years’ experience with a reputable company.
