About the job

• We are in need of a Logistics officer who will be responsible for providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the objectives of the organization.


• He/she will be responsible for the planning, oversight, and management and coordination of logistics support operations to ensure smooth delivery process.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing budgets, processing shipments and building delivery routes.


• Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.


• Manage the dispatch riders to ensure swift and successful delivery.


• Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.


• Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.


• Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.


• Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.


• Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.


• Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
