The logistics is responsible for the total well being and maintenance of the vehicles as well as managing the drivers.
Job Duties
Manage vehicles licensure and registration
Regular checking of vehicles to know if necessary item such as Fire extinguisher, Jack, C caution reflective stickers etc are available and replaced it when necessary.
Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles and calling appropriate technicians for vehicle repairs
Managing Budget for vehicle repair and replacement
Ensures all vehicle and drivers are up to traffic standard
Coordinate and monitor drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices
Assist in searching for, hiring and training new drivers
Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress
Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Reduce the risk of vehicle overloading or other risk related with vehicles
Meeting regularly with the drivers to discuss company goals and plans as well as discussing the challenges of the drivers
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business administration, or Transportation; Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or in a related field
Work experience in logistic or supply chain management
Computer skills
Excellent analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good organizational skills
Willingness and ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities that may require overtime or extended hours.
