• Our client is seeking to employ a qualified Education Counsellor to support its business and clients.

Job Brief

• We are seeking a qualified Education Counsellor to support our international business and partnerships.


• He/she will provide consultation services for students willing to seek international admissions, academic or career advice to identify student-related concerns and create development plans based on specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in making important decisions at the most critical time of their careers,


• Assist students realize their interests and potential and discuss possible career paths.


• Help find what students want to study or pursue as a career to realize their passions.


• Create a career plan around the student's interests and preferences.


• List options for college or university that fit their budget.


• Build confidence in educational choices.


• Address and resolve conflict or distressing situations.


• Provide the student with the confidence to make decisions.


• Prepare the student for potential academic or career challenges in advance.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND / OND in Business related field or Guidance Counselling field.


• 2 years cognate experience


• Proven experience as a Education Counsellor


• Ability to operate within a wide range of personalities and backgrounds.


• Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence abilities


• Basic knowledge of computers.
