Job brief


We are looking for a Social Media Analyst with excellent communication & creative skills to oversee the company’s social media presence through creating and implementing content strategies on social media platforms, ensuring a high level of web traffic and customer engagement.



  • Conduct research on current book trends and audience preferences.

  • Create and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

  • Generate impactful and meaningful content on all social media platforms. It encompasses areas such as writing and editing social media posts, growing customer engagement, and supporting social media campaigns

  • Craft out social media content and plans that are in alignment with the company’s brand identity

  • Produce, edit, distribute and share engaging content on a daily basis (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency

  • Lead and promote social influencer programs.

  • Interact with followers, reply to queries promptly, and monitor customer feedback

  • Recommend and implement new initiatives to develop brand awareness such as promotions, events, and contests

  • Monitor search, social, and content metrics

  • Use web analytical tools such as Google Analytics, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance

  • Recommend proposals to tweak the social media marketing strategy for optimal results

  • Prepare periodical reports on social media marketing efforts for Management.

  • Keep updated on the best practices and emerging trends in social media.

  • Analyze the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identify strategic weaknesses and make recommendations for improvements

  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings and prospects need.

  • Log and process orders from social media for processing on CRM/Order Management Platform


Requirements



  • Experience as a social media specialist or similar position.

  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness.

  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.

  • Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO.

  • Knowledge of the book and publishing industry is a plus.

  • Bibliophile and can work in a fast-paced environment are an advantage.
