Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the planting, cultivation, and maintenance of oil palm trees.


• Carry out routine tasks such as weeding, pruning, and fertilization to promote healthy growth.


• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in plantation activities.


• Participate in the harvesting of oil palm fruits using proper techniques.


• Ensure proper irrigation and water management for optimal tree growth.


• Monitor and manage pest and disease control measures.


• Assist in the application of fertilizers and pesticides as directed.


• Collaborate with other farm staff to accomplish daily tasks and projects.


• Help with the loading, transporting, and unloading of harvested palm fruits.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm facilities, tools, and equipment.


• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.


• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or plantation work is an advantage.


• Basic understanding of oil palm cultivation practices is preferred.


• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.


• Communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.


• Willingness to learn and adapt to the demands of oil palm plantation work.


• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in agricultural settings.
