Job Description

• We seeking the services ofa competent Logistics Supervisor that will coordinate and facilitate the supply chain operation of the company.


• He will Supervise the movement of goods and materials to their required destination.


• Plans, coordinates and manages the activities of logistics personnel to ensure that their operations are executed according to the required standard.


• Maintains awareness of industry and global logistics trends that will benefit company in the marketplace

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and Management the activities of drivers and operators within the Head Office and at Site.


• Prepare Movement and Operations plan to ensure smooth running of operation.


• Provide comprehensive operational records for drivers and operators.


• Carryout checks and inspection on vehicles and equipment to ascertain their functionality.


• Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment and keep equipment service records.


• Carry out equipmentinventory and provide other report in his area of responsibility.


• Prepare accurate reports for upper management


• Maintain an updated list and status of Vehicles and Equipment.


• Lead daily control meetings, identifying issues and actions to be taken.


• Consult with various internalunitsto identify opportunities for improvements of the supply-chain network


• Any other duties as may be assigned by Management or representative of Management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, with focus on supply-chain management


• Must have at least 10 years experience


• Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including maritime and over-the-road).


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
