Key responsibilities:

• Ensure Availability & OEE targets (collaboratively along with Production Manager / Quality Assurance Manager) are met as per plan.


• Ensures that all maintenance practices are in conformity with the Manufacturing excellence program


•  Loss elimination 


• Ensures effective P&M upkeeping to reduce losses in Raw and Packaging Materials 


• Motivate & develop the Engineering work force 


• Co-ordinate with Safety / Quality / Production functions for the smooth functioning of Plant


• Implementation of Capital expenditure projects 


• Effectively carry out the performance management process for his team members.


• Carry out other jobs as assigned by the Management.


• Should be familiar with Budgeting of Repairs & Maintenance / Energy expenses & Capex 


• Lead Energy Management / safety culture / Sustainability initiatives


• He / She is also responsible for Engineering Stores / spare parts management, ensuring Repairs & Maintenance costs within targets, Capability development and improving the life of assets.


• To Lead and Manage Engineering team of all product lines across shifts of Biscuit Plant (5 lines) and Wafer (3 Lines). Implement World class Maintenance practices through Manufacturing excellence program.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.


• Hands-on experience of handling, operating and maintaining machinery for Food Processing industry


• Knowledge of SAP or any ERP is preferable


• 7 - 10 years years of experience in Maintenance / Engineering function preferably in confectionery    /Food/Pharmaceutical Industries with 5-7 years as a Functional Head.


• Degree in   Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation.
