Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Receiving Delivery Plan and updating Truck Loading to know Truck capacity to use for all Regions/Get approval from HOD

  • Forward request to stores for delivery and invoicing

  • Update daily Dispatch report for Lagos and region

  • Interacting with Sales and support and client if there is any constraints

  • Maintaining the inventory of Van sales and updating spread sheet for Van sale

  • Sending Daily Fleet Movement Report to HOD

  • Receiving allocation for Branch and organize distribution loading

  • Follow up Deliveries till they arrive to client or branch

  • Issue Diesel Based on Approved Formula

  • Maintaining Excel Sheet of Home Appliances on Weekly basis for Lagos and Branches and sending to Sales team


Minimum Requirements



  • Degree in Supply Chain or relevant course.

  • 3 - 5 years proven experience as a Logistics Officer.


Competencies:



  • Good knowledge of logistics and vehicle coordination and movement. Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Paying good attention to details

  • Team player, good-natured.

  • Good knowledge of roads and routes

  • Understanding planning, shipping systems

  • Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries

  • Tracking the progress of shipments

  • Knowing all aspects of warehouse operations.
