Description 

• Developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures


• Analyzing transportation data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement


• Collaborating with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless transportation operations


• Plan and coordinate the movement of goods, vehicles, and drivers


• Create and manage transportation schedules


• Monitor and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs


• Negotiate transportation contracts with third-party providers


• Manage and supervise drivers and other transport staff


• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and laws


• Continuously monitor and improve transportation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs


• Communicate with customers and other departments to coordinate deliveries


• Monitor and evaluate the performance of vehicle maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
