Check stock balance of items in the supermarket on a daily basis, ensure they tally with system/software records;
Ensure all staff check physical quantities and expiry dates on shelves using company templates and finish up records collections on time.
Look through previous sales of staff, noting quantities and cross checking with actual stock count of sold items report;
Balance out previous counts with cashiers and floor attendants and extract any differences;
Carry out price check and comparison to update monthly records and note findings and communicate with team;
Ensure all staff restock and refill items on all the shelves and always ensure the availability of products;
Put together requisitions and propose items for purchase, ensuring that items are purchased timely and do not go beyond minimum quantity, following company standards
Ensure that items purchased are entered accurately into the system and all staff are aware of receiving, merchandizing and record collectionprocesses.
Maintaining high levels of quality assurance, including product/stock evaluation and all approved process/procedures;
Contributing to policy and planning;
Managing inventory flow - safe guarding and coming up with different process and policy that safe guard inventory;
Preparation, generating and communication of End of day reports;
Enforce discipline and adherence to company policies and processes.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND qualification with 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.
