Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for onboarding of credible transporters with high emphasis on cost reduction/control.


• Responsible for developing logistics processes, SOPs and structures.


• Have understanding of the types and qualities of trucks required for shipment.


• Will be responsible for following up with transporters regarding truck bookings and transit issues.


• Must ensure that respective expected time of arrivals (ETAs) are met.


• Must ensure trucks arrivals are timely trucks offload without shortages


• Must have good understanding of the parameters that affects rate fluctuation. Must be abreast of the rate for various locations.


• Collaborating with Sales Managers in optimizing shipping routes for efficient result.


• Developed and implemented safety policies and procedures that reduced workplace accidents


• Provided excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or questions related to shipments.

Requirements

• HND or BSc in any related field


• Must have 3-4 Years working experience in same role.


• Must have worked in the FMCG Industry Preferably Diaper & Sanitary Pad companies


• Excellent reporting skills


• Excellent communication and analytical skills


• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


• Must reside in Ibeju Lekki Area or be willing to relocate
