PRIMARY GOAL:


To drive growth and expansion opportunities for the company by identifying, pursuing, and capitalizing on new opportunities to increase revenue, market share, and profitability.


RESPONSIBILITIES:·



  •  Conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

  • Analyzing data to develop insights and strategies for business growth.

  • Generating leads through various channels such as networking, referrals, cold calling, and digital marketing efforts.

  • Identifying and qualifying prospects to build a robust pipeline of potential clients.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders as well as understanding their needs, concerns, and objectives to tailor solutions and services accordingly.

  • Articulating the value proposition of the company’s products or services and addressing the client's requirements.

  • Negotiating terms, contracts, and agreements with clients to secure new business opportunities as well as closing deals and finalizing contracts in alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Developing strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, campaigns, and initiatives to promote the company’s brand and offerings.

  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of business development efforts.

  • Providing regular reports and updates to management on progress, achievements, and challenges.

  • Staying updated on industry trends, best practices relevant to business development.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts toward business development goals.

  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical guidelines.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENT



  • First degree in any relevant course of study with a minimum qualification of second class lower.

  • A minimum of one year experience as a Marketer/ Business Development Officer within the financial service industry is essential.

  • Ideal candidate must be residing in Lagos and based within the Ogba-Ikeja axis or its environs.
