The Flet/Plant Manager ensuresthe total and smooth operations of all Contrucstion vehicles, Machines and Drivers for the achievment of the project goal.
Responsibilities
Manage all project vehicles and Operators: Vehicle ranging from Caterpillar, Enscavators, Pay Loader, Low-Bed, Back Hoe, Concrete Mixers and SelfMixers, Back hoes, Water Tankers, All brands of Tippers,Laterite Hand roller Machines etc.....
Ensure diesel consumption calibration in the vehicles and Machiness for effiecint diesel managment
Endure Vehicle maintanance (Servicing and repairs)
Network with skilled Mecanics to handle Vehicles maintancance (servicing and repairs)
Enforce Compliance to company policies on the useage ofvehicles and Machines
Ensure team safety on the useage of the vehivles and machines
Recruit and onboard only qualified drivers and Opearators of the construction machines
Ensure quality control.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a B.Eng Degrees in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years hands on deck experience as a plant manager
Certification in facility management.
Skills:
Good knowledge of managing Construction site Machines and Vehicle
Good communication and negotiation skills
Familiar with a verse pool of Construction vehicles, machines and their spare parts
Ability to trouble shoot and timely follow through on resolution for work hidge free activivities
Manage the team of Opearators, Drivers, Mechanics and fleet/plant assistants
Ability to manage operation scheduling and deliverables in the Fleet/Plant department
