Job description

• An online news media company in Anthony, Lagos State is offering a place of primary assignment to an NYSC member as a social media admin.


• The ideal candidate must be passionate about social media, trending news and content creation.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content, including text, images and videos.


• Monitor and respond to comments, messages and inquiries promptly.


• Analyse social media metrics and insights to optimise performance and drive results.


• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in social media engagement.


• Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall company objectives.

Requirements

• Graduate of marketing, communications or related field.


• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and trends.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design.


• Passion for news and trending stories.


• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


• Knowledge of the Nigerian media landscape


• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays


• Proximity to Anthony Village is a plus
