Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly alert and responsive Hospital Security Guard to join our healthcare team.


• As a Hospital Security Guard, you will ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and hospital property, while also providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital premises, including patient areas, corridors, and parking lots


• Monitoralarm systems to identify potential security threats


• Control access to sensitive areas, such as nurseries and pharmacies


• Respond to emergencies, such as codes, alarms, and disturbances


• Escort patients, visitors, and staff as needed


• Manage conflict and de-escalate volatile situations


• Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement agencies


• Write incident reports and maintain accurate records


• Provide assistance to patients, visitors, and staff as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• 0-2 years of experience in security or related field


• Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods


• Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays


• Knowledge of healthcare security regulations and standards
