Job Description of Engineering Head 

Functional Area: To Perform the Roles & Responsibility as Head of Engineering 

Reporting To: Manufacturing & Technical Director 

Duties & Responsibilities  

• To Head all the Engineering and Maintenance Related activities of the Factories 


• Planning of Preventive & autonomous Maintenance of all the Equipment and Machinery in Factories   


• Maximize Up time of all Equipment. 


• Energy Management for Factories, Availability and energy costs within Budget 


• Upkeep of all other Utilities of Cooling Towers, Electrical transmission, Boilers, Air Compressors Etc. and ensure maximizing Up time of all Utility Equipment. 


• Repair & Maintenance Budgeting and to keep expenses within budgets 


• Overseeing all the Capital Expenditures on Plant & Machinery. 


• Implementation of Unit Specific Projects. 


• Manufacturing Excellence adaption in Engineering and ensuring adherence to all SOPs 


• Team Management and team Building. 

Job Requirements & Person Specifications: 

• Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Stream 


• Minimum Experience of 15 Years in Maintenance Engineering, Majorly in the FMCG Industry. 


• A Profile from a MNC Company would be preferred. 


• A candidate with experience in Manufacturing Excellence Working Environment would be an advantage. 


• Fluency in English Language for reading, writing and speaking is a must. 


• Candidate should be well versed in Microsoft Excel/Power Point/Word/Projects and also in Auto Cad.
