The Hospitality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the patient and visitor experience at Redeemer's Health Village.
This role involves managing hospitality services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and customer service, and coordinating with various departments to deliver a seamless and positive experience for all.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the hospitality services team, including housekeeping, catering, front desk staff, patient experience personnel and ward management teams.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and customer service.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided to patients, visitors, and staff, making improvements as necessary.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals and other departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
Handle patient and visitor feedback and complaints, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Manage budgets and resources efficiently to deliver cost-effective hospitality services.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
Plan and organize staff training programs to maintain and improve service quality.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on hospitality services performance.
Ensure all areas of the hospital, including wards, public areas, and patient rooms, are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Monitor and manage the performance of housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Coordinate with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless ward management and patient care.
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment among staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle complaints and resolve conflicts effectively.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Proficient in the use of relevant software applications.
