Job Summary



  • The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the salon's social media strategy.

  • This includes creating engaging content, growing our online community, and driving traffic to our services.

  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in social media management.


Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:



  • Develop and curate engaging content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.

  • Create visually appealing graphics, videos, and posts that reflect the salon's brand and services.

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and special offers.


Community Management:



  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.

  • Foster a positive online community and encourage customer engagement.

  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach.


Strategy and Analytics:



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the salon.

  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.


Collaboration:



  • Work closely with the Salon Manager and other team members to align social media efforts with overall business goals.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, photoshoots, and other marketing activities.


Qualifications



  • 2 years experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in the beauty or fashion industry.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.

  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret social media metrics.

  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
