We are currently seeking a Logistics Officer at our facility in Awka, Anambra State, to manage the dispatch of outgoing goods, supervise loading operations, ensure timely order fulfillment, and maintain accurate inventory records to support the company's logistical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the dispatch of outgoing goods and fulfillment of orders.


• Supervise loaders during the loading of trucks to ensure correct and safe loading.


• Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.


• Keep accurate records of all outgoing goods, including quantities, price, color and destinations.


• Monitor warehouse inventory levels to identify shortages.


• Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely production and replenishment of inventory.


• Communicate with transportation providers to schedule and manage deliveries.


• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements during loading and transportation.


• Address and resolve any issues or delays in the logistics process.


• Prepare and submit reports on logistics activities, including order fulfillment status and inventory levels for management review.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of HND in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.


• At least 2 years proven experience as a logistics officer or in a similar role.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to manage and supervise a team.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing industry.


• Ability to work with flexible working hours.


• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in logistics.
