Job Summary



  • Advertising Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities; keeps and grows client relationships; offers solutions that help clients achieve their business goals; closes business; meets set sales target


Job Duties



  • Identifies client needs and develops persuasive proposals to meet needs and opportunities.

  • Delivers effective sales presentations.

  • Maintains client communication and ensures client satisfaction.

  • Monitors competition to continually find new account leads.

  • Negotiates rates based on ForeMedia Group budgets.

  • Generates revenue and meets/exceeds established sales targets.

  • Maintain a set number of accounts, making calls to clients on a weekly basis to discuss advertising opportunities and recommend specific advertising spots

  • Maintain working knowledge of marketing space openings, including their benefits, to provide this information to clients quickly and accurately

  • Create contracts for clients to sign and take the time to explain all information found in the contract and guide clients through the process

  • Perform market research to determine new marketing opportunities as well as plans to capitalize on them effectively

  • Receive and review information about clients’ products or services to better serve them and provide a strategy that is tailored toward their specific needs

  • Locate and contact potential clients to offer their firm’s advertising services

  • Explain to clients how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way

  • Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services

  • Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients

  • Inform clients of available options for advertising art, formats, or features and provide samples of previous work for other clients

  • Deliver advertising or illustration proofs to clients for approval

  • Recommend appropriate sizes and formats for advertising

  • Analyzes, develops and presents market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products.

  • Interacts with various internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitor account activities and monitor and manage collections.


Education / Experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or any related field, or equivalent education and experience

  • 2 years of experience in a related field.


Skills:



  • Experience in B2B, B2C, B2G sales and advertising sales is a plus

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Motivation, perseverance, and determination qualities

  • An aptitude for research and analysis

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Enthusiastic and passionate

  • Self-starter that works well in teams and synergetic environments.
