Responsibilities

• Responsible for tracking, receiving, and stocking all customer/client parcels


• Ensure parcels are properly stored through efficient utilization of storage spaces and strict consideration to parcel safety.


• Responsible for supervising and accounting for all parcel inventory.


• Carry out periodic parcel inventory report and provide other report in his area of responsibility.


• Ensure exceptional packaging of parcels to eliminate the possibility of damage while on transit and during loading, offloading and storage.


• Supervise the loading, offloading and storage of parcels


• Ensure timely tripping and acknowledgement of parcels in order to ensure real time updates on the company’s tracking platform.


• Immediate escalation of all possible delays in parcel movement or condition in order to promote timely resolution of all customer challenges.


• Coordinate the movement of drivers for fast and efficient deliveries.

Requirements

• A first degree in transport and logistics Management or any related field.


• Effective communication and ability to coordinate activities timeously.


• Good computer knowledge and excellent emailing etiquette.


• Candidate must have work in a similar role before.


• Attention to detail.


• 2-3 years of prior experience on the role.


• Excellent team work spirit.


• Candidates MUST be resident in Coker, Aguda and its environs
