Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI and Data Science Lead to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our AI and data science initiatives, managing a team of data scientists, and working closely with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven solutions.


• The AI and Data Science Lead will play a crucial role in developing and executing our data strategy, driving innovation, and delivering impactful projects that align with our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI and Data Science team in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions and data science projects.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data science problems.


• Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and improve decision-making processes.


• Manage end-to-end data science projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.


• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and data science and apply new techniques to improve existing processes.


• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.


• Work with engineering teams to integrate AI models into production systems and ensure scalability and performance.


• Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.


• Drive continuous improvement in data quality, data governance, and data infrastructure.


• Collaborate with external partners, research institutions, and industry experts to advance our AI and data science capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in AI and data science, with a proven track record of delivering successful AI projects.


• Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).


• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.


• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Experience in managing and mentoring data science teams.


• Familiarity with AI ethics, data privacy regulations, and best practices in AI governance.


• A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in a related field.


• Experience in the education or social impact sector.


• Published research or contributions to the AI and data science community.


• Experience in AI-driven product development or start-ups.
