Job Summary



  • To achieve cost-effective utilisation of ITHorizons' financial resources, through the definition of financial standards, policies and procedures


Responsibilities



  • Engages Executive Management and the appropriate Board Committee to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.

  • Develops and utilises financial models and activity-based financial analysis to provide a basis for investment decisions and business planning.

  • Manages key banking relationships to facilitate proper, timely and cost-effective funding of business operations.

  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient financial management.

  • Monitor third-party payments to ensure justification and alignment with approved budgets.

  • Prepare and communicate timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reports.

  • Raise funds as approved by the Board of Directors.

  • Implement a sound accounting framework in compliance with statutory provisions.

  • Develop and implement a robust financial reporting system.

  • Ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.

  • Approve accruals and adjustments on erroneous financial transactions.

  • Liaise with statutory auditors to resolve queries.

  • Develop and manage relationships with external bodies.

  • Respond to requests from financial institutions.

  • Approve payroll along with Head, P&C.

  • Advise executive management on financial regulations, legislation, and government tariffs.

  • Manage treasury assets to achieve optimal sourcing, application, and growth of funds.

  • Provide technical training and guidance on financial accounting issues and trends.

  • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and lead the Finance Department.

  • Manage staff performance in the Finance Department.

  • Review weekly financial reports and present timely reports to the CFO.

  • Coordinate the preparation of financial reports and statutory reporting process.

  • Oversee the preparation of regular financial and management accounts.

  • Perform other duties assigned by the CFO.
