Duties and Responsibilities
Generic Responsibilities:
- Adhere to FRAD policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines.
- Responsible for implementation of (Information Management) MEAL activities in close collaboration with Core Competency officers/Intern.
- Ensure project documentation of MEAL activities of Core Competencies.
- Contribute to the implementation of MEAL systems, including MEAL tools.
- Ensure that FRAD’s related activities are implemented within Safe and Inclusive Programming Guideline and report any breaches/concerns to the line manager and/or focal point for proper action.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Support MEAL Manager in developing data collection methodology and tools.
- Support the digitalization of data collection tool and electronic warehousing of data
- Support data management in close collaboration with core competencies’ MEAL Intern and the development of clear information flows between program and M&E staff, as needed.
- Support the targeting and the registration of beneficiaries as needed.
- Support post distribution monitoring and related activities.
- Proactively gather information from sector Programs, and MEAL Officer/MEAL Intern which will be used for informing decisions;
- Identify barriers for information collection, analysis and sharing.
- Working with MEAL Manager to ensure timely preparation and generation of information products, and support on information sharing and dissemination through FRAD Platform
- Facilitate mobile data collection, form development and data management.
- Generate statistical reports, graphs, and maps and follow up on Program specific trends.
- Support new and ongoing assessments.
- Map assistance coverage in specified area, analyze and report the potential gaps
- Produce, share maps illustrating scale/coverage of assistance
- Maintain data bases, provide data entry if required
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mathematical Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Research, and Social Science or any other related qualification.
- Basic knowledge of data collection & use statistical package.
- Experience in the humanitarian field, NGO, or INGO advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity in performing responsibilities assigned.
- Good knowledge of English, Hausa & other native languages where deemed necessary based on areas of deployment or redeployment.
