- PPS is looking for a trainable IT Clerk to provide clerical and administrative support to team members.
Job Description
Office Assistance:
- Assist team members in organizing files, scanning, making photocopies and scheduling meetings.
- Process Orders for Equipment: Source for Vendors, obtain invoices and process requests.
- Collect/receive orders from vendors, distribute orders to centres and run other errands.
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support the IT Team.
- Record information in databases and generate documents/reports.
- Assist with configuring and connecting Peripheral equipment to computer systems.
- Provide basic equipment support across centers as needed, including setup and cleaning.
- Perform routine checks on CCTV Systems, Attendance Scanners, walkie-talkies and other IT Gadgets.
- Run daily website downtime tests and generate monthly reports.
Application Testing:
- Test and retest multiple web and mobile applications.
- Identify bugs, software defects and inconsistencies.
- Record bugs, glitches and other flaws identified during testing.
- Create and regularly update logs to document testing phases and defects.
Others:
- Record and log all interactions (queries, incidents, and resolutions) in relevant logs.
- Maintain a database of all equipment (Computers, Keyboards, Wireless Adapters, Routers, etc.).
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE (Senior School Certificate) or equivalent.
- ND in a computer-related course is an added advantage.
- Skilled in using basic office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, etc.
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of company information.
- Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment
- Capacity to manage high-stress situations.
- Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills (Spelling and composition).9) Attention to detail
