Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed both monthly and annual revenue targets within the PVC pipe industry.
- Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities by targeting potential customers, including contractors, distributors, and construction companies in need of PVC pipe solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders to ensure continued business growth and loyalty.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify emerging opportunities within the PVC pipe market.
- Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of prospective clients, showcasing the advantages of PVC pipes over alternative solutions.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and revenue forecasts, ensuring detailed tracking of progress towards sales targets.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote PVC pipe products, increase brand visibility, and generate new leads.
- Collaborate closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of PVC pipe orders, meeting customer expectations for product availability and service quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support, assisting clients with product selection, specifications, and installation queries to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and follow up on client orders, addressing any issues or concerns to maintain positive relationships and ensure client retention e.t.c
Academic Qualification and Skills
- HND / B.Sc in Social Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, preferably within the PVC pipes industry or a similar field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and drive results in a dynamic environment.
- Candidate residing in Ibadan or willing to relocate.
