Job Summary
- The Sales Operations Officer is responsible for developing and overseeing a smooth, effective sales process to enable the growth of the organization.
- In other words, a Sales operations officer takes care of everything reps need to support their ability to sell.
- The Sales operations executive typically builds reports that are used by team members and leadership to inform decisions based on historical data, present-day results, and future forecasts.
Job Responsibilities
Logistics and Supply Chain Management:
- Revalidation of LPO when needed for supply (timeliness and accuracy)
- Managing distribution for out-of-Lagos supply with logistics company (end-to-end)
- Ensuring products arrive in good condition
- Timely submission of production plans
- Ensure routes are aligned and optimized
- Daily Collaboration with the logistics team for a seamless supply chain.
Merchandiser Management:
- Follow up with merchandisers to:
- Share stock levels and submit weekly reports
- Ensure products are well-arranged
- Provide instore insights of our products and competition.
- Merchandiser Payment notifications to the Human Resources Department.
Sales Support and Administration:
- Daily invoice raising (timeliness and accuracy)
- FSR daily reporting sheet analysis (Ensure compliance, do tactical store visits, market understanding)
- Weekly Payment and Receivable tracking and follow-up.
Sales Activation:
- Coordination of Exhibitions, Instore Activation, Visibility materials.
Customer Service Support:
- Invoice raising as needed
- Customer service communication.
Reviews and Reports:
- Monday meeting planning and coordination
- Weekly and monthly reports submission.
- Quarterly Competition Sales Reviews (Volume, Value and Competition Analysis).
Job Requirements
- HND / B.Sc in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.
- Minimum two (2) years experience as a Sales Operations Officer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suites
- Excellent analytic and reporting skills
- Interpersonal, time management, coordination, and organization skills are required
- Proximity to location is a PLUS.
