Our Client is a vibrant and fast-paced hair salon dedicated to providing exceptional beauty services to our clients. Our salon is a haven for creativity and style, where we focus on delivering personalized experiences.
In this role, the ideal candidate will be our clients' first point of contact, ensuring they receive excellent service from the moment they walk through our doors. As the receptionist, you will manage the front desk, coordinate appointments, and provide administrative support to our stylists and management team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly as they arrive, provide information about salon services, and answer any questions they may have.
- Manage and coordinate appointment bookings via phone, messages, and walk-ins, ensuring optimal scheduling for clients and stylists.
- Handle incoming calls and messages, responding promptly and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Process client payments for services and retail products, manage cash transactions and balance the register at the end of each day.
- Assist clients with purchasing hair care products, provide product knowledge, and track inventory levels.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients.
- Update and maintain accurate client records in the salon’s booking system.
- Relay messages between clients and stylists, ensuring clear communication regarding appointments, services, and any special requests.
- Address any client concerns or complaints with a professional and solution-oriented approach.
- Assist with other administrative tasks, including inventory management, marketing support, and event planning.
Person Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a salon or spa environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer skills.
- A positive and professional demeanor with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
