Job Summary
- This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to manage inventory levels, coordinate, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain network.
- This role includes working closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, production, and sales to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
Responsibilites
- Manage the entire factory and its operations.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency, and service improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and logistics metrics to assess operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Implement inventory control processes to reduce waste and obsolescence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence and meet organizational goals.
- Ensure that team members adhere to deadlines and perform their tasks efficiently.
- Minimize factory downtimes to the bare minimum.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs across the supply chain.
- Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock to meet demand while minimizing excess.
- Ensure that all equipment and machines are fully operational.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure the prompt supply of necessary factory materials.
- Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Education, Qualification and Experience
- HND / BSc and other certifications and training.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Working experience in a Furniture, Manufacturing firm or related field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in MS Excel and experienced with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, work under pressure and handle multiple priorities

- Awareness of the latest trends and technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
- Capability to develop and implement process improvements.
- The ability to troubleshoot logistics issues.
- Capacity to creategreat working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines.
