ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our growing team. The Product Manager will be responsible for guiding the development and lifecycle of our products, from concept to launch and beyond. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, data-driven, and able to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver products that meet market needs, drive business growth, and create value for our customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Define vision, develop strategy and deploy resources for the success of the product.
- Lead the development of new features from concept, ideation, growth and product development.
- Liaise and collaborate with different stakeholders, ranging from design, IT engineering, marketing and operations team to ensure customers have great experience with the product.
- Responsible for the visibility of the company’s products across traditional and social media.
- Utilize customers feedback to continuously improve the service offerings of the products in assigned category.
- Communicate upgrades and updates of products to all stakeholders (internal and external).
- Conduct periodic market research with a view to positioning digital products for market dominance and competitive advantage.
- Sets key performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders critical to the success of the product.
- Recommends scalable performance-based incentive scheme for external stakeholders.
- Submits performance report of external stakeholders to the head of business, and makes recommendation on retention or otherwise of stakeholders based on performance.
- Ensures that product has sufficient resources (human, physical and mechanical) to function optimally.
- Continuous service appraisal of the product for process and product improvement.
- Acts as the company’s liaison officer with external stakeholders.
- Ensure the product has the requisite size of external stakeholders required to scale per time.
- Defines, and drives the implementation of standard operating procedure for all relevant stakeholders.
- Renders weekly, and monthly performance report of all products in assigned category.
- Manages the product team to ensure optimal productivity of all team members, and makes recommendation for training or other course of action in cases of identified gaps.
