Key Responsibilities
Market Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil, gas, and marine sectors.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure clients have continuous access to support and resources from the company.
Business Strategy Implementation
- Collaborate with management to develop strategic plans for business growth.
- Define clear targets and strategies for achieving business development goals.
Tender Management
- Manage the preparation and submission of tenders for projects in compliance with client requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather necessary information for bid submissions.
Performance Monitoring
- Track business development metrics and report on progress towards objectives.
- Analyze feedback from clients to improve service offerings and customer satisfaction.
Networking and Representation
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote services and establish connections.
- Build a network of contacts within the oil, gas, and marine industries.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (required).
- An MBA or relevant certifications in business development is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development within the oil, gas, or marine sectors.
- Proven track record of securing new business and managing client relationships effectively.
