Job Summary:
- The COO oversees and manages day-to-day operational, administrative, and technology functions across a diverse group of companies.
- The role focuses on streamlining processes, fostering innovation, and managing risks while aligning operational goals with the group's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of operational functions
- Streamline processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Implement best practices and standards to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and executive team to develop and execute strategic plans
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and risks to inform strategic decision-making
- Oversee risk management practices and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong operational and strategic planning skills
- Proven ability to manage risk and drive operational excellence
- Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory requirements
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, preferably in a Group of Companies
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- MBA or relevant master's degree preferred
