Job Description
Job Focus:
- The Human Resources Specialist will focus on implementing and managing HR practices that support Paycare’s business strategy and enhance the employee experience.
- The role requires working closely with the HR lead to ensure smooth HR operations, while providing guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.
- You will be responsible for key HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance reviews, benefits administration & Payroll, employee engagement, and Tax/regulatory compliance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from posting job openings and conducting interviews to extending offers and facilitating new hire onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, mediating conflicts, and ensuring a positive work environment. Support employees with issues related to benefits, policies, and performance.
- HR Policy Implementation: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and aligning with Paycare’s culture and values.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, including setting up performance goals, conducting appraisals, and ensuring employee development.
- Compensation and Benefits: Administer and communicate employee benefits programs, manage payroll, and ensure accurate and timely payments. Research and recommend competitive salary and benefits packages.
- Training and Development: Coordinate training and development initiatives to improve employee skills and knowledge. Identify training needs and support employee growth opportunities.
- HR Compliance: Ensure that HR policies and procedures comply with employment laws and regulations. Maintain employee records, including attendance, leave, and personal files, in accordance with legal requirements.
- Employee Engagement: Promote a healthy workplace culture through engagement programs, recognition, and communication initiatives that align with Paycare’s mission and values.
- HR Metrics: Track and report HR-related metrics such as employee turnover, retention, and satisfaction to guide HR strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives
Qualifications
- Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills
- Experience in developing HR policies
- Knowledge of employee benefits administration
- Personnel management expertise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the financial sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
