Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base within the logistics sector.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
Conduct negotiations and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Monitor customer feedback and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s services.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in sales management, specifically within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market trends.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
