Scope of work



We are a leading logistics firm seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of shipments through our hub, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP), and facilitating the efficient storage, coordination, dispatch of waybill shipments. This role requires strong organizational skill and attention to details.



Responsibility:




  1. Oversee the receipt of shipment parcels from hubs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

  2. Assess waybill shipments received and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.

  3. Plan and coordinate the dispatch of waybill shipments to their designated destination.

  4. Supervise and coordinate the loading process at the loading bay to ensure efficiency and safety.

  5. Update waybill shipment records in the hub to ensure accurate tracking and accountability.

  6. Allocate waybill shipments appropriately based on destination and urgency.



Relevant work experience/Qualification




  • 1-3 years’ experience of years working experience in logistics industry.

  • HND/BSC in any relevant discipline

  • Must have completed the NYSC Program.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
