Job Essentials
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Demographics, Computer science, IT, or any other relevant equivalent Degree is required.
- A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years previous experience working with National and international NGOs.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Accountability in the humanitarian context.
- Experience in implementing donor funded projects is desirable.
- The ability to develop Maps and info graphics is an added advantage.
- Support in ensuring that community leaders and beneficiaries are actively participating in all project and M&E activities
- Ensure utilization by projects of appropriate data collection and reporting templates that facilitate the acquisition and aggregation of data.

- Basic knowledge of education systems and challenges in formal and non-formal settings.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools and data collection techniques is an advantage.

- Participate in planning, and implementation activities on the project including surveys andrapid assessments, as well as in the monitoring and evaluation of the program activities.
- In collaboration with relevant stakeholders (MOE, EiE, and SUBEB) ensure accurate data collection, compilation, and timely reporting.
- Ensure tracking of activities using the Indicator Tracking Table to ensure that indicators progress according to the logical framework.
- Support the program team with feedback from community meetings.
- Support the MEAL Coordinator to conduct data quality Assessments.
- Monitoring of all project activities progress towards achieving the project output and outcomes.
- Reports monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual progress on all project activities to the MEAL Coordinator in line with indicators.
- Contributes towards review, revision, and development of data collection tools, methodologies, and standardized reporting templates.
- Participate in planning and undertaking surveys, and rapid assessments, as well as in the monitoring and evaluation of the program activities especially about Education, Livelihood, and Protection.
- Regularly collecting and compiling data for the PSNE activity info platform and Gender-Based Violence Information Management System (GBVIMS), and producing summary monitoring reports.
- Conduct regular data verification exercises to ensure reporting and collection of quality data.
- Support the MEAL Coordinator to monitor Education and Child Protection projects across all target communities and communicate findings and progress to Program Managers
- Support the dissemination and use of evaluation and research reports and propose changes for improvement to the education and protection activities.
- Support in capacity training to field staff regarding monitoring tools.
- Update shared drive and project team space with program monitoring documents regularly.
- Perform other duties as delegated.
Key Competencies:
- Proficiency in the use of MS Excel or other statistical packages e.g SPSS, STATA-12, PowerBI etc)
