Position Summary
- A Hotel Waiter / Waitress ensures that guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive and professional service.
- They are responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guests' needs to maintain a welcoming and high-quality service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables when necessary.
- Provide menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations.
- Ensure prompt and professional service throughout the dining experience.
Order Management:
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Monitor orders and ensure they are served correctly and on time.
Serving Food and Beverages:
- Deliver food and drinks to tables with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Handle requests for special dietary requirements or modifications.
Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Reset tables promptly for the next guests.
Payment Handling:
- Present checks to guests and process payments accurately.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and any billing discrepancies professionally.
Team Collaboration:
- Assist other staff members, such as hosts, bartenders, or kitchen staff, as needed.
- Support smooth operations during peak service times.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with at 3 years experience
- Candidate must be resident of: Agbado-crossing, abule-egba, meiran, agbado-Ijaiye, jankara, agege, ogba, iyana ipaja, kola , tollgate and its enviros.
