Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems software where applicable
Providing network administration and support. Liaising with the IT specialist in the maintenance of servers and access points
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of company IT systems and infrastructure.
Manage the IT team, providing guidance, support, and training to junior staff.
Ensure the security of the company's data, network, and systems by implementing appropriate security measures.
Monitor and maintain the performance of all IT systems, ensuring high levels of efficiency and minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Provide IT support and advice to other departments as required.
Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
Ensure that users within the business can work effectively and efficiently by providing the right support in terms of Internet service and IT work tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in IT management or a similar role.
Extensive working knowledge of networking, hardware, software, and IT security practices.
Proficient in managing servers, databases, and cloud-based systems.
Experience with IT project management and systems integration.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Certifications in IT management or network security (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA Security+).
Experience with ERP systems and software development.
Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
