About the job




  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate of Computer Science or Project Management to gain hands-on experience in real-world IT project execution. As an IT Project Intern, you will play a key support role in planning, coordination, documentation, and quality assurance across multiple ongoing projects. You'll work closely with project managers, technicians, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to keep projects organized, on track, and well-documented.



Key Responsibilities



Project Planning




  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and schedules.

  • Collaborate with team members to define project objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.



Documentation and Reporting




  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, action items, and status reports.

  • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.



Coordination and Communication




  • Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.

  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and project-related events.

  • Serve as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries.



Task Management




  • Track project tasks and milestones to ensure timely completion.

  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues.

  • Proactively address deviations from the project plan and escalate as necessary.



Resource Management




  • Assist in resource allocation and coordination.

  • Schedule meetings, make logistical arrangements, and procure necessary supplies or equipment for project activities.



Quality Assurance




  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.

  • Conduct quality checks and review project documentation for accuracy and completeness.



Risk Management




  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes.

  • Work with project teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.



Team Support




  • Provide administrative support to project teams as needed.

  • Organize team meetings, maintain project calendars, and assist with project-related tasks.



Qualifications




  • Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

  • 0-1 year of internship or professional experience in IT project coordination (preferred but not required).

  • Strong interest in IT project management and systems implementation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
