The Revenue and Pricing Manager will be responsible for optimizing revenue and profitability for the Online Travel Agency (OTA) by developing and implementing dynamic pricing strategies, conducting market analysis, and managing inventory across all travel products. This role requires expertise in revenue management principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to market trends to maintain a competitive edge.



Specific Responsibilities



Revenue Management and Optimization




  • Develop and execute revenue management strategies to maximize profitability across flights, hotels, packages, and other travel products.

  • Analyze booking patterns, market trends, and competitor pricing to adjust pricing strategies dynamically.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue per available seat, margin, and conversion rates, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Identify revenue growth opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and promotional campaigns.



Pricing Strategy




  • Create, implement, and manage competitive pricing models for B2C and B2B customer segments.

  • Utilize data analytics to evaluate pricing elasticity and adjust rates to remain competitive while protecting margins.

  • Manage fare rules, discounts, and promotions to align with market demand and business goals.



Market Analysis and Reporting




  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify emerging trends.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align pricing strategies with promotional efforts.

  • Prepare detailed revenue and performance reports for senior management, providing actionable insights.



Collaboration and Stakeholder Management




  • Work closely with the technology team to enhance pricing tools and systems, ensuring accurate data inputs and outputs.

  • Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to understand customer feedback and refine pricing strategies.

  • Partner with suppliers and distribution channels to negotiate competitive rates and ensure inventory availability.



Requirement




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or a related role within the airline space, travel, hospitality, or e-commerce sectors with 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Proficiency in revenue management systems, GDS platforms, and pricing tools.

  • Advanced skills in Excel, data visualization tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Knowledge of AI-driven pricing and dynamic inventory tools is a plus.

  • Strong numerical and data analysis capabilities with a focus on actionable insights.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management and report presentations.

  • Ability to identify revenue challenges and create innovative strategies to address them.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the travel industry, including market trends, seasonality, and consumer behavior.

  • Strategic thinking and planning.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
