Responsibilities




  • Overseeing and developing the administrative processes and procedures that are necessary to deliver an efficient and professional support service to the firm’s staff members.

  • Heading research department of the firm; vetting all processes, documents and all outgoing correspondences.

  • Supervising all court processes, general litigation and corporate legal representation of clients.

  • Analyzing the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.

  • Interfacing between the Principal partner and other lawyers in the chamber.

  • Interfacing between the clients and the organization.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workflow, resource allocation, and client service delivery.

  • Successfully introduce and integrate new operational or case management systems that differentiate the firm from competitors within the first year.

  • Develop and launch at least two innovative legal service offerings or packages that set the firm apart within the first two years.

  • Establish and enforce new SOPs for key operational areas (e.g., client intake, case management, billing) to enhance efficiency and consistency within the first year.

  • Organize and conduct quarterly training sessions for all staff to maintain high standards of legal practice.

  • Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership by contributing and reviewing legal articles, presenting at industry conferences, and participating in professional associations.

  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents, Interpreting laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.

  • Foster a culture of excellence, ensuring all legal procedures align with the firm's objectives and industry standards.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the firm.



Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role must possess:




  • A Law degree from a reputable university.

  • 8 - 10 years minimum legal professional experience.

  • Experience being responsible for the management of staff.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence others effectively at all levels within Chambers and with outside organizations.

  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

  • A track record of effective leadership and delivery.

  • Ability to work unsupervised, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Legal research expertise.

  • Professional attitude and presentation, especially when representing the Chambers externally.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and manage teams with clear targets, including demonstrable ability in acting as a leader.
