Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as Secretary to the Executive Board of Directors (EBOD) and Head of the Secretariat of the Association
- Implement the resolutions of the EBOD to achieve organisational goals
- Directly supervise Heads of Department of the Secretariat
- Oversee the day to day running of the Association's Secretariat, interacting with members, government, board of directors, board of trustees, registrars and affiliated organizations;
- Implement business objectives of the Association as it affects Registrars and other stakeholders;
- Manage financial activities of the Association as approved by the EBOD
- Plan and implement the Association's short- and long-term goals, ensuring compliancewith the law enabling the organisation.
- Represent the interests of the organization and her stakeholders at National, Regional and Global levels, properly articulating policy advocacy as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree obtained with a minimum of 2nd class.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage
- At least 10 years experience in an ICT firm with a minimum of 5 years at management level
- Proven record of business development capabilities
- Membership of recognised professional bodies such as NCS, CPN as well as relevant certifications such as CISM are added advantages
- Proven communication, project management and negotiation skills
- Team management experience
- Experience engaging with local and global policy-making organisations
- Experience managing strategic relationships at C-level
