This is a full-time, on-site position for a highly motivated and results-oriented Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Lagos. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the success of our key brands and products within the Nigerian market.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and consumer needs. Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and develop actionable insights.
Product Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies for new product launches and existing product line extensions.
Sales & Channel Management: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure effective product distribution and achieve sales targets.
Product Life Cycle Management: Monitor product performance throughout the lifecycle and make necessary adjustments to the marketing strategy to maximize profitability.
Brand Management: Develop and maintain strong brand equity for assigned products.
Competitive Analysis: Track competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively and ensure optimal return on investment.
Project Management: Manage various product marketing projects from inception to completion.
Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Proven experience in product management, brand management, or a related field
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis tools
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Desirable:
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing
Relevant professional certifications in Marketing or Product Management
