We are seeking a highly motivated and competent Finance Executive to join our team and drive the expansion of our business.
Your primary responsibility is to manage the company’s financial records and transactions, including accounts payable and receivables.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily reconciliations and reviews of General Ledgers.
Monthly preparation of Depreciation Schedule, raising journals and posting the journals raised in NCV.
Monthly preparation of Prepayment Amortization Schedule, raising journals and posting the journals raised in NCV.
Monthly preparation of Accrued Expenses Amortization Schedule, raising journals and posting the journals raised in NCV.
Monthly Reconciliation of Underwriting unit Report of GPW and Unexpired Risks with GL,
preparing the schedule of reconciled report, raising the necessary journals, and posting in NCV.
Monthly Reconciliation of Claim unit Report of Outstanding Claims Paid and Recoverable with GL, preparing the schedule of reconciled report, raising the necessary journals, and posting in NCV.
Monthly Reconciliation of Reinsurance unit Report of Reinsurance Assets and Unearned
Reinsurance Commission with GL, preparing the schedule of reconciled report, raising the necessary journals, and posting in NCV.
Responding to Internal Audit Queries.
Any other responsibility (s) as assigned by the ED, Finance & Corporate Services
Requirements.
First degree in Accounting
Must be a Chartered Accountant -ICAN
Minimum of 3 years progressive and related experience in relevant field
Stockbroking experience in a financial institution would be an added advantage.
