Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager at Meats ‘R’ Us Street Suya plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the Manager in all aspects of business management. This role involves overseeing staff, handling customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring profitability while creating a welcoming dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Management:
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the grill.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Supervise opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards in food and service.
Staff Supervision & Training:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and managing staff.
- Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Provide guidance and motivation to employees to maintain excellent customer service.
Customer Service & Satisfaction:
- Ensure customers have a positive dining experience.
- Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Sales & Financial Responsibilities:
- Support in achieving sales targets and controlling costs.
- Assist in managing budgets, handling cash, and processing transactions.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a grill, restaurant, bistro, or hospitality management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and cost control.
- Passion for food, customer service, and hospitality.
