Description

• We are seeking a Finance Manager to report to the CFO and lead all aspects of financial control and process improvement.


• You will be responsible for all financial systems including the selection and implementation of an ERP and build upon existing automation and processes.

Responsibilities 

• Ensure absolute integrity of all accounting records and reporting


• Review, overhaul and document all processes within the finance function


• Improve and build out IFRS9 provisioning model


• Responsibility for Financial Systems including the selection and implementation of an ERP/Accounting system


• Integrity of all financial records within Mambu (core banking


• Review and improve product accounting on Mambu ; train the team on Mambu


• Review, overhaul and document all processes within the Finance Function


• Develop and implement models for the deferral of direct selling costs and deferred fee income


• Set up SPV and Accounting for Securitization Business


• Implement a risk and control monitor for the finance function


• Drive automation and continuous process improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience with reputable organizations


• Prior experience in the banking industry is required


• Experience in the deployment of SAP is required


• Professionally qualified (ICAN & ACA, ACCA or equivalent)


• Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Accounting or any other related field


• MBA or M.Sc. in Finance, Accounting or any related discipline is a plus
