Employment Type: Contract (6 months) – Possible Permanent Placement

Salary: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 per month



Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer with 2-3 years of experience in the manufacturing or agribusiness industry to support financial operations for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and supporting strategic financial decisions. If successful in this role, there is potential for a permanent position within the organization.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the project.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support decision-making.

  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

  • Monitor and report on project costs, expenditures, and financial risks.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax policies, and industry standards.

  • Support cash flow management and working capital optimization.

  • Conduct cost analysis and profitability assessments to enhance efficiency.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals.

  • Provide financial insights to improve operational and investment decisions.

  • Assist in audit preparations and ensure proper financial documentation.



Qualifications & Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting within the manufacturing or agribusiness sector.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost management, and budgeting.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CFA) is an added advantage.
