Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Safety and Environment Officer to join our team.


• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.


• Develop, implement, and review health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.


• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.


• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.


• Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and best practices.


• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of health, safety, and environmental incidents, inspections, and training.


• Develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.


• 3 years of experience as a Health Safety and Environment Officer.


• Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
